It was a very nice appartment, all as described. The communication before and during the stay was very good. We were warmly welcomed and found it very nice that Danielles partner greeted us with some local Pastrizzis. The appartment is in a great location, the view is very nice over a small valley with typical gardens over to the stunning local church of Mallieha and the sea in the distance. The apartment itself is modern and light, with well equipped kitchen, a washing mashine in the utility room, 2 lovely bathrooms (spoiled for choice) and 2 very good sized bedrooms. There are large french doors that can be put aside so the living area is wide open to the balcony. 2 small convenience stores with plenty of fresh local fruit and veg were very close and provided a good selection of food. There are also 2 bakeries in the village closeby, a nice ice cream parlour and many restaurants in different price categories, visited by maltese and foreign people alike. We hired a car and found the location excellent to get anywhere on the island quickly, including over to Gozo. Daniella maintained good contact with us throughout our stay and we were sorry to have to leave after 2 weeks. We would highly recommend the appartment and the location.
